Consultations
SAIF responds to consultations from the Scottish Government, public sector organisations and others. The response can be either in our own name or through input to a response from the Scottish Consumer Council, where we are based.
2008 consultations
Some of the consultations we have responded to in 2008 include: NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (Language and Communication Support Plan), the Department of Transport (Disabled Persons' Protection Policy), ODS Consulting on behalf of Communities Scotland (Tenant Purchaser Information Packs), Shetland NHS Board (Accessible information strategy and policy), and Strathclyde Fire and Rescue (Single Equalities Scheme).
We have also worked with a range of organisations providing them with information and advice. For example, the Communication Forum Scotland (Talk for Scotland toolkit), Cairngorms National Park (wide ranging documents, leaflets, reports), Scottish Government (Directing your own support guide), Procurator Fiscals Office (application forms and performance review information) and the Glasgow Access Panel (street signs).
