To achieve our objectives, we draw on the expertise of our forum members and our project staff as well as a wide range of organisations with whom we consult on a regular basis. We also employ external agencies and consultants to undertake specific pieces of work.
On a day to day basis the project staff support the work of SAIF. The full forum of 21 people meets 3 times a year, for a half day’s meeting, to monitor progress and direct the work of the project staff. In addition we hold an annual review of the project and agree developments to the SAIF objectives and how we organise them.
SAIF is based within, and managed by, Consumer Focus Scotland .

Work
The working groups meet regularly and keep minutes from the meetings. One project officer attends and reports back to the forum. The groups are the driving force behind SAIF's work and the efforts of the group members are invaluable to the work of SAIF.
