Inclusive Communication Hub

What is the Inclusive Communication Hub?

The purpose of the Inclusive Communication Hub is to provide a ‘one stop shop’ for information on Inclusive Communication in Scotland.

A lot of good work has been done already by many organisations throughout Scotland but finding this information can be difficult.  The aim of the Hub would be to have a central place for all this information to be kept or signposted to.

Who is involved?

The Scottish Accessible Information Forum (SAIF) and the Scottish Disability Equality Forum (SDEF) have formed a Steering Group to help with the development of an Inclusive Communication Hub for Scotland.

Members of the Steering Group are:

  • Mairi Whannel – Scottish Accessible Information Forum (SAIF)
  • Morven Brooks – Scottish Disability Equality Forum (SDEF)
  • Kim Hartley Kean – Royal College of Speech & Language Therapy
  • Mandy Reid – Scottish Council on Deafness (SCoD)
  • Paul Hart – Sense Scotland
  • Sue Kelly – Inclusion Scotland
  • Robert Dalrymple – Stroke Association

What do you think? – Complete our survey

We would like your views on having an Inclusive Communication Hub in Scotland. We have produced a survey and ask that you take 15 minutes to answer our questions.

The responses from the survey will be used to inform the Steering Group how useful the Inclusive Communication Hub could be for organisations wishing to develop their own Inclusive Communications.  Various formats of the survey can be found below:
