  1. To assess the service provided against the expectations of the service users.
  2. To identify gaps in the service.
  3. To review and refine the existing services.
  4. To develop new service delivery methods.
  5. To raise awareness of service users and staff that the views of service users are important.
  6. To demonstrate that service users can affect service planning and development.
